The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company has announced plans to open its first luxury hotel in Denver. The Ritz-Carlton, Denver will open in fall 2007 at 1881 Curtis Street. The 19-story facility, which provides easy access to the 16th Street Mall, Coors Field and lower downtown, will include 155 rooms and 47 suites, plus The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Denver. The hotel property will be situated on the first 14 floors of the building with 13,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 6,200 square foot ballroom, a junior ballroom, business center, and lobby lounge.

The guest rooms will measure more than 510 square feet each and include plush bedding and linens, five-fixture bathrooms, 24-hour room and valet service, LCD TVs, multi-line telephones and high-speed Internet access. The hotel also will feature a signature Ritz-Carlton Club Level. Elway's is the hotel's on-site restaurant, named for the Denver Bronco quarterback and NFL Hall of Fame inductee John Elway.
