The Spa Vida Real at Playa del Carmen's Hacienda Vista Real is now open. The property is making the claim that their spa is the largest in Latin America. The spa is located inside a replica of a giant Mexican pyramid similar to Chichen Itza. 35 spa therapies are offered in 24 treatment rooms. The spa also has a Zen garden, an Asian-themed restaurant, and a tezmecal, an ancient Mayan therapy ceremony utilizing water, fire, aromatherapy and herbs, conducted by a shaman.
