Music legend Sir Paul McCartney has set a new world record after selling out all 4,000 seats for his upcoming gig at the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in seven seconds.

According to a report in the Malaysia Sun, tickets for the former Beatle's April 19 concert at the resort's The New Joint venue went on sale February 14 and newly released statistics suggest the concert was the hottest ticket around, selling at a rate of nearly 600 seats a second, reports contactmusic.com.

Although “officially” sold out, the Hard Rock is offering a limited number of Paul McCartney Packages, which include one room for April 19, two tickets to the show and a VIP Linepass. To learn more, agents can visit www.hardrockhotel.com/las-vegas/concerts/.
