What to Do in Las Vegas for Memorial Day 2017

Year in and year out, Las Vegas pulls out all of the stops for summer's official kickoff, Memorial Day Weekend. Travelers can expect long lines at the regularly popular nightclubs and pool parties, but there's no place quite like Sin City for the non-stop, three-day party. See what's hot this year:

DJs & Performances

The Las Vegas party scene is consistently bringing in the biggest names in music with concerts, shows and long-term residencies. This Memorial Day, Vegas will step things up a notch with a collection of top DJs including Tiesto, DJ Khaled, Martin Garrix, Skrillex and Kaskade. The DJs will take over nightclubs and day clubs including:

  • Hakkasan at MGM Grand - Tiesto
  • Omnia - Martin Garrix
  • Tao Beach - DJ Khaled
  • XS at Encore - Skrillex
  • Wet Republic - Kaskade

As always, bottle service is available and tickets can be purchased ahead of time at www.vegasunzipped.com

Club Crawl

Whether your client is flying solo or traveling with a large group, LA Epic Club Crawls aims to show them the best of Las Vegas nightlife in VIP style. A professional party and club crawl host will lead guests to the front of the line at four different Vegas hotspots - some with complimentary drinks and drink specials. Those planning on attending a club crawl can check www.laepiclasvegas.com a week prior to Memorial Day for tickets and a complete line-up of bars, as they change each night.

Guests looking for a day-time party can opt for an LA Epic Pool Crawl, hitting up some of the hottest pool clubs on the strip.

Punk Rock Bowling and Music Festival

If EDM, hip hop and pop aren't quite your style, the Punk Rock Bowling and Music Festival returns for its 19th year. The festival will take over downtown Las Vegas for four days and host outdoor acts each afternoon. All in all, over 100 musicians will perform throughout the weekend. There will also be four late night club shows each night in smaller, more intimate surroundings. If that's not enough, throw in 190 bowling teams competing at three separate bowling centers, a poker tournament, comedy, movie screenings, art exhibits, lounge shows, and more. Lake Mead

For a more laid back, waterfront Memorial Day, take a short trip to Lake Mead. Located only 30 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, Lake Mead has something for everyone, including hiking, camping, swimming and kayaking. Lake Mead offers picnic areas, RV campgrounds and three different marinas. For visitors who wish to stay the night, there is lodging available aboard houseboats out of Callville Bay Resort and Marina and in rustic fishing cabins at Lake Mead’s Temple Bar. For a fun activity, power boat rentals are also available at Temple Bar and Calville Bay Resort. Visit www.callvillebay.com.
