Report: Kempinski to Open Caribbean Hotel in Dominica

Dominica will soon be home to the first Kempinski hotel in the Caribbean

Caribbean Journal is reporting that Kempinski, a global hotel firm, signed an agreement last week with Dubai-based Range to manage a soon-to-be-built hotel in the Cabrits area of Dominica

The property would mark Kempinski's debut in the Caribbean. It is slated to feature 100 suites on Cabrits’ Douglas Bay, according to the report.

The announcement comes as another project in Cabrits funded by the government of Morocco is still in search of a management company. That smaller project is located near Purple Turtle Beach.
