Secret Bay in Dominica Re-Opens for the Fall Season

Secret Bay recently welcomed its first guests following Tropical Storm Erika.

Secret Bay in Dominica recently welcomed its first guests after Tropical Storm Erika put the island on shutdown for the last month of the summer.

In fact, according to a BBC.com report in August, the prime minister of Dominica said his country has been set back 20 years by Erika. At least 20 people are known to have died in flooding and mudslides caused by the storm.

"It was wonderful to be able to welcome Brian and Megan now that the airports are open again and all airlines are once again flying guests into Dominica," according to a statement issued by the hotel.

To encourage more clients to visit the property, Secret Bay has two special seasonal packages - one for couple and one for families. They both offer six nights for the price five as well as a chance to sample some island highlights. Both of these offers are available for stays from October 1 to December 20.
