Carnival to Sail to Amber Cove, Dominican Republic, in October 2015

carnival victoryOn October 6, 2015, the Carnival Victory will sail to Amber Cove in the Dominican Republic for a day-long call as the line’s first ship to sail to the destination.

The port offers visitors numerous activities and opportunities to explore, which include relaxing on the beach, participating in water sports (such as cross-country adventures in 4x4 Terracross buggies, horseback riding on the beach, snorkeling, and swimming in natural river pools), traveling to Paradise Island, spending the day at Ocean World (the area’s largest marine adventure park), visiting rural coffee plantations, sampling traditional Dominican cuisine, and shopping downtown for locally sourced crafts and souvenirs.

Guests seeking to upgrade their experience can reserve their own private beachside bungalow, which offers personal chef, bartending and staff services.

Other ships in the fleet, such as the Carnival Breeze, Carnival Glory and Carnival Splendor, from Miami, Florida; Carnival Conquest from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.; Carnival Sunshine and Carnival Valor from Port Canaveral, Florida; and Carnival Fantasy from Charleston, South Carolina, will also be making stops at Amber Coast.
