Travel Agent recently returned from a stay at the new Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana and thought the main pool was a great spot for Millennial parents and their children to cool off after an active day.
Overlooking Uvero Alto beach, this modern chic pool is the perfect place for guests to either catch some sun, swim a few laps or simply relax with a cold drink at the swim-up bar, Jazmin.
Agents should note that the pool and pool area can be rented out for private events. The price depends on the event, the number of guests, the decor, the food, etc.
The pool also offers activities ranging from aqua aerobics to water polo. Aqua aerobics takes place every day at noon, while water volleyball and water polo are both offered every other day at 3 p.m. If Millennials would like to stay active on their own time, the pool offers everything from volleyballs to footballs to board games to rent.
We were told the best cocktail at Jazmin, the pool’s swim-up bar, is the pina colada, while the best non-alcoholic beverage is the fresh squeezed lemonade.

Karisma Hotels & Resorts and Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN), a division of Viacom Inc., announced recently that Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Riviera Maya will follow Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana.
Slated to open in December 2017, Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Riviera Maya will have 288 swim-up and infinity suites, each with its own pool on a private terrace or balcony. It will be located on a secluded white-sand beach facing the Caribbean Sea.
The first floors of both main buildings will be comprised of swim-up suites with direct access to swimming pools and swim-up bars, while floors two through six will host the infinity pool suites with unobstructed ocean views.
Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Riviera Maya’s accommodations will include one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites, each with shared living spaces and private pools.
