Four Points By Sheraton Opens Bangkok Hotel

Four Points by Sheraton announced recently the debut of its first hotel in Thailand. The new property, located in the Sukhumvit area of Bangkok, will offer some of the largest guestrooms in the city's midscale hotel market along with a rooftop bar, several dining options and event space.

“Opening in Thailand, a key destination for business and leisure travelers, is an important step as Four Points continues its fast-track expansion around the world,” said Brian McGuinness, senior vice president of specialty select brands for parent Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

The hotel is meant to cater to business and leisure travelers alike. The new Four Points is situated in Sukhumvit, Bangkok's entertainment and commercial district, meaning guests can explore shopping, dining and nightlife without venturing too far.

More business-minded travelers can take advantage of the hotel's proximity to the Asok sky train station and the 350-square-meter event space, which can be divided into two parts (130-person capacity each).

No matter if a guest is in Bangkok for business or fun, chances are they'll be able to find something to eat, drink or do on the hotel grounds. The 258-key property includes two restaurants — home-style buffet The Eatery and cafe-deli Wrapped — and two bars — brewhouse The BeerVault and rooftop lounge Ambar — to keep guests satiated. The outdoor rooftop pool and fitness center also offer leisure opportunities.

“Four Points by Sheraton rethinks the traveler’s experience and aims to provide guests with the simple pleasures in life by taking an honest, uncomplicated and fun approach catered to both business and leisure travelers alike,” said Janet McNab, general manager of Four Points by Sheraton Bangkok, Sukhumvit 15.
