Lufthansa Lowers Fuel Surcharge

As crude oil and kerosene prices continue to fall, Lufthansa has announced that it will further reduce the fuel surcharge on its flights. The fuel surcharge on long-haul routes will be adjusted to $90 per flight segment, a $10 decrease. On domestic German and intra-European routes, the corresponding fuel surcharge will be adjusted to $29 per flight segment, a $3 decrease. The reduction will apply to all Lufthansa tickets issued on or after December 16.
