Reuters reports that accommodation wholesaler Hotelbeds, which is owned by European tour operator TUI Travel PLC, is planning to expand in the Americas and Asia following an expectation of a 25 percent rise in sales this year.
"At this particular time there are not that many businesses that have this kind of growth rate. We have always had a global appetite, the world is our market place," Joan Villa, managing director of TUI Travel’s accommodation and destinations, said to Reuters in an interview.
