Eurostar Train Breaks Rail Record

A Eurostar train made record-breaking time on Tuesday when it traveled from Paris to London in just under two hours and four minutes. The trip was the inaugural run to the new Eurostar terminal at St. Pancras International station in central London, which has yet to be completed. According to Eurostar's web site, the rail company plans to officially switch to St. Pancras from London's Waterloo Station in November 2007.The trip from Paris to the Waterloo station ordinarily takes about two hours and 35 minutes.
