st regis monarch beachQuestex Travel Group has announced that Luxury Travel Advisor’s ULTRA Summit for 2016 will be held May 22–24, 2016, at the luxurious St. Regis Monarch Beach, Dana Point, California

Celebrating its fourth year, the event will unite the world’s most elite travel advisors and suppliers for an exclusive discussion about the latest research and trends in ultra-luxury travel.

“Luxury Travel Advisor’s ULTRA Summit invites an unparalleled group of travel agency owners, managers and other top-producing advisors, whose diverse experiences, unique insights and varying opinions deliver a broad range of perspectives on the ever-evolving ultra-luxury niche,” said Ruthanne Terrero, founding editorial director of Luxury Travel Advisor and Questex Travel Group vice president, content and editorial director. “They are the select few who suppliers turn to when shaping the experiences that will ultimately become trends with their affluent client base.”

ULTRA Summit brings some of the world’s most prestigious suppliers together with a cross-section of ultra-luxury advisors who drive hundreds of millions in luxury travel revenue annually and represent independent and affiliated agencies with membership in the top consortia, including Virtuoso, Signature Travel Network, Ensemble Travel Group and American Express

Registered advisors and suppliers also are honored guests at the event’s annual Awards of Excellence ceremony, which recognizes the top luxury suppliers in the travel industry.

According to company surveys, 90 percent of suppliers and 91 percent of travel advisors who attended the event this year said they would like to attend it again in 2016.

The St. Regis Monarch Beach, a Forbes five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond award winner since 2010, will provide a sublime backdrop to the event, Terrero added.

Intimate one-to-one appointments will be intermixed with lively panels, engaging presentations and discussions, elegant networking functions, thought-provoking educational content and interactive, 15-minute “pop-up panels,” in which a moderator will identify topics and randomly select delegates to participate based on the numbers on the back of their badges.
