Nexion just wrapped its annual President’s Circle Celebration at the Hyatt Regency Resort & Spa in Lahaina, Hawaii, in Maui.
The event celebrated top Nexion travel agents, including winners of the Ambassador Award, Circle of Excellence and MillionAir, which were announced at CoNexion 2015 in October. The award winners on the President’s Circle Celebration trip were joined by Nexion President Jackie Friedman, Vice Presidents Robbi Hamida and Cris De Souza, senior Nexion staff and top supplier partners December 3-6, 2015.
The top 40 Circle of Excellence winners were invited to attend. To receive the Circle of Excellence award, Nexion agents must achieve a set of sales goals for selling cruise and select land based travel using Nexion’s supplier partners. The top 20 MillionAir winners also received an invitation, having qualified by generating more than $1 million in airline sales each during the course of the year. The third way agents qualified for the President’s Circle trip was by being honored with Nexion’s Ambassador Award. The recipients of the Ambassador Award are nominated by Nexion staff and their peers for representing what it means to “be NEX.”
Upon arrival, guests were greeted at a welcome reception sponsored by their host, the Hyatt Regency Maui. The second evening featured Polynesian culture and history with a “Drums of the Pacific” performance, as well as a traditional Imu ceremony and native Hawaiian cuisine. Additionally, the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau sponsored a three-hour sunset Pacific Whale Foundation cruise. Following the cruise the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau, The Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa and the Westin Maui Resort and Spa treated attendees to a dessert reception.
