Vacation.com Names Keynote Speakers for Conference and Tradeshow

Vacation.com has announced its lineup of keynote speakers for its 18th International Conference & Trade Show

Joining the roster of speakers this year will be the following chief executive officers: Richard D. Fain, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.; Frank Del Rio, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd.; and Arnold Donald, Carnival Corporation & plc; as well as previously announced speaker Bruce Poon Tip of G Adventures. Under the theme, “Connect More,” this year’s conference is scheduled for May 22-26 at the Diplomat Resort & Spa in Hollywood, Florida.

In addition to the more than 130 hours of educational classes, seminars, and hours in the interactive experience room, nearly 1,400 Conference attendees will be able to hear from each of the newly named keynote speakers on specific days throughout the event:

Monday, May 23, 2016: Richard D. Fain, chairman and CEO of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. will be the keynote speaker on May 23. Fain oversees the global cruise company operating 45 ships under the Azamara Cruises, Celebrity Cruises, Pullmantur, Royal Caribbean International and CDF Croisiéres de France brands. Fain joined Royal Caribbean in 1979 and became the cruise line’s chairman and CEO in 1988.

Tuesday, May 24, 2016: Participants will have the opportunity to hear from Frank Del Rio. He is the president and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd., which is comprised of Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

Tuesday, May 24, 2016: G Adventures founder Bruce Poon Tip will be the keynote speaker on this date to talk about the growth of the adventure travel market. He was previously a keynote speaker at Vacation.com’s 14th International Conference & Trade Show onboard Royal Caribbean International’s Oasis of the Seas in 2012.

Wednesday, May 25, 2016: Cuba cruises will likely be among the topics on this day as Arnold Donald, president and CEO of Carnival Corporation & plc, addresses Vacation.com Conference attendees. Donald oversees the global company operating a fleet of ships including Carnival Cruise Line, Cunard Line, Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, Seabourn Cruise Line, and Fathom in North America, as well as several others around the world.
