Hilton Cartagena to Add $5 Million Executive Tower

October 30, 2007 By: Travel Agent Central Contributor Travel Agent

Hilton Cartagena in Colombia announced plans to add 53 rooms with the completion of a $5 million executive tower, scheduled for late November. The new tower, adjacent to the convention center in the hotel's north wing, will feature 46 executive guest rooms and seven executive suites, all with access to an executive lounge on the 10th floor. Guest accommodations in the tower will have a contemporary look and tropical flair, with soundproof, double-panel windows, LCD television, a dedicated work area, king or queen beds with duvet, minibar, safe, rain shower in bathroom and more. Suites will have king beds, sitting area with sofa, and a dedicated work area. The project, led by architect and interior designer Juan Manuel Garcia, is the latest upgrade to the Hilton Cartagena, which in early 2006 completed a $2 million refurbishment of guest rooms, dining, the hotel exterior and meeting space.
