Costa CruisesCosta Cruises is offering "Kids Free" spring and summer promotion that lets four travelers sail for the price of two guests. With Kids Free, junior cruisers ages 17 and under only pay taxes and fees as the third or fourth guest in a cabin on select sailings through July 2013.

In addition to the Kids Free offer, special low rates are available on select Mediterranean and northern Europe departures from now through November 2013. Rates start as low as $399 per person, double occupancy, for a seven-night western Mediterranean cruise.

"Our Kids Free promotion offers families great vacation options at an exceptional rate, making it easy to spend quality time together while visiting the popular cities of Europe," said Scott Knutson, vice president of sales and marketing for Costa Cruises North America

Travelers have the option of participating in onshore activities, such as visiting the Acropolis in Athens, Greece, or the Colosseum in Rome, Italy. In addition, Costa offers youth programs onboard that feature games, parties and plenty of opportunities to socialize with fellow junior cruisers.

In each group games, sports, crafts, parties, dance lessons and more are offered throughout the day and into the evening. Led by a team of qualified youth staff, several activities also include karaoke, bingo and talent shows.

Children can also order from a special menu served at every meal with favorites like spaghetti, pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, grilled cheese and ice cream. Costa also offers a Boys & Girls beverage card for 10 nonalcoholic drinks, such as juice and sodas.
