Koro Sun Resort Debuts Edgewater Floating Bures

Koro Sun ResortOn May 1, 2015, Koro Sun Resort & Rainforest Spa will unveil its Edgewater Floating Bures, eight unique individually designed Fijian-style thatched roof accommodations.

The new bures can hold up to two guests and have a built-in king size captain’s bed, adorned with a contemporary Fijian style bedspread; a built in lounge; its own countertop bar; a refrigerator; air conditioning; soft indirect lighting and recessed reading lights; a private deck for relaxation with a day bed; and its own private dock. There are also a screened glass louver windows and a contemporary bathroom with rain shower, Raintree wood benches and countertops and Pure Fiji line personal care amenities.

Each stay comes complete with air conditioned ground transportation pick up at Savusavu Airport, check-in service at the main Club House, a coconut oil foot rub / bath and upon arrival, three meals daily, a bottle of sparkling wine upon arrival, afternoon tea and a full range of non-motorized activities such as swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, rainforest trekking, paddle boarding, hand line fishing, golf, traditional lovo feast (traditional Fijian cuisine) meke (Fijian song and dance), a visit to a Fijian village school, a visit to a nearby pearl farm and more.

Guests can also access the Edgewater Beach Club, including the Wai Bar, a swim-up bar serving tropical cocktails and local beers with two daybeds and several personal lounges.

Through August 1, the resort is offering an “Afloat in Paradise” package for $2,750 per couple that includes five-night accommodations on double-occupancy rooms, a complimentary 30-minute massage for two at the Rainforest Spa. There is also a candlelight dinner prepared specially by the Resort’s executive chef. A minimum two-night stay is required.
