Agents Get Paid Upfront with Tuscan WayFebruary 12, 2008 By: Travel Agent Central Contributor Travel Agent
Tuscan Way has a new travel agent program that pays 5 to 15 percent upfront commissions for booking tours at any of their eight locations throughout Tuscany. Agents receive payment by deducting their commission when full payment is made to Tuscan Way.
Additionally, agents who accompany groups also receive free round-trip air (up to $1,000) for groups of 10 or more and up to 100 percent off their stay depending on group size. Euro-to-dollar conversions are locked in at the time of booking if full payment is received within 60 days; after 60 days, it’s fixed when full payment is received.
The company incorporates cooking classes into a broader Tuscan experience. Classes are provided in family-style kitchens, guided excursions to medieval villages, seaside towns, private vineyards and wine cellars with wine tastings, local markets and spa visits.
All packages include accommodations, meals, wine, transfers and local transportation for scheduled excursions. There are up to five hands-on cooking courses during the seven-day package, wine-tasting sessions and escorted visits through the local markets, restaurants and vineyards. Visit www.tuscanway.com.
