October 17, 2007 By: Travel Agent Central Contributor Travel Agent

American Airlines on Tuesday announced nonstop service between Russia's Domodedovo airport in Moscow and Chicago's O'Hare International Airport, beginning June 2, 2008. This service not only marks the airline's first flight to Russia, but also makes American the first U.S. airline to fly nonstop to Russia from Chicago and the second U.S. airline to fly nonstop to Moscow from anywhere in the U.S., the carrier said. American will operate the service six days a week, using Boeing 767-300 aircraft, with eastbound flights not flying on Sundays and westbound flights not operating on Mondays. Flights depart O'Hare at 4:55 p.m., arriving in Moscow at 12:15 p.m. the next day. Return flights depart at 4:50 p.m. and arrive 2:40 p.m. the same day. Visit []. (JM)
