It appears as though Martinique’s string of bad press is over. Shortly following the end of a nearly three-week strike, Travel Agent learned the destination will add new American Eagle flights. Beginning May 1, American Eagle will offer daily service between its hub in San Juan, Puerto Rico and Fort-de-France, the capital of Martinique.

The new daily service replaces previous American Eagle service, which operated four times weekly.  Flights from San Juan to Fort-de-France leave at 7:15 and 9:06 p.m. while flights from Fort-de-France depart at 7:24 and 9:25 a.m.
