American Eagles Reinstates Flights Between Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic

American Eagle Airlines, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, announced today it will reinstate service to La Romana-Casa de Campo International Airport (LRM) in the Dominican Republic from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan (SJU), Puerto Rico twice a week (Friday and Sunday), beginning November 18.

The new service will be operated with 64-seat ATR-72 aircraft. Las Romana, the official airport for Casa de Campo and the hotels in the Bayahibe region, is a popular destination for travelers coming from and through San Juan.

The new flights will depart from San Juan at 12: 25 p.m , arriving in the Domincan Republic at 1:25 p.m. on Friday and Sundays. Return flights leave Laa Romana at 2 p.m., arriving in San Juan at 3 p.m.
