Icelandair and WestJet Team Up

Simple EarthTravel options for flights between North America and Europe are now enhanced by a new interline agreement between Icelandair and WestJet, a Canadian low-cost air carrier.

Passengers can now book a single combined e-ticket for WestJet and Icelandair flights, which include conveniences like single check-in for all flights and baggage sent through to the final destination, with no additional fees for connections from Iceland to Europe.  They will fly on Boeing 737 Next-Generation aircrafts, with service to more than 80 cities in the Americas, including popular destinations like Boston, New York, Seattle, Denver, and Toronto.

"Our complementary customer service and connections through Toronto and Halifax make this a natural partnership. We also look forward to further opening the skies of Canada for both inbound and outbound passenger" says Helgi Mar Bjorgvinsson, Icelandair's senior vice president of marketing and sales.
