New Airline Linking Mexico and Latin America to Launch July 8

Maya Island Air announced the July 8 launching of Maya Island Air Regional, which links Belize, Cancun, Guatemala City and San Pedro Sula. Maya Island Air is a Belizean airline, which has been servicing 10 destinations in Belize for the last 49 years using a fleet of Norman Islanders, Cessna Caravans, 182s and Air Vans.  The fleet has now been expanded to include THREE ATR 72s. The ATR 72s have been configured for comfort with 68 seats. The ATR 72 is a twin-engine turbo prop aircraft which has served commuter routes all over the world with an excellent safety record.
