When asked if his New York restaurant would be like his Yountville, California, eatery, French Laundry, chef Thomas Keller said it wouldn't "per se." The urban interpretation of his West Coast inspiration, the Time Warner Center restaurant creates two nine-course tasting menus daily and has one à la carte, Salon Menu. Menu items this summer include Chilled Summer Melon Soup, Butter Poached Nova Scotia Lobster and Cilantro Lime Macerated Papaya.

Located on the Upper East Side, Daniel joins Per Se as one of five restaurants  to be awarded four stars by The New York Times.
