British Airways Launches Flights to French Alps

British Airways is extending its route network from London City Airport this winter with a new route to Chambery, the gateway to the French Alps.

The service, by BACityFlyer, a subsidiary of British Airways, will operate four times a week from December 18 until the end of March 2011, using the airline’s fleet of brand-new Embraer 190 aircraft.

The schedule for the route is as follows:

London City – Chambery

Monday: depart 10:50 a.m.; arrive 1:25 p.m.
Friday: depart 7 a.m.; arrive 9:35 a.m.
Saturday: depart 6:40 a.m.; arrive 9:15 a.m.
Sunday: depart 2:35 p.m.; arrive 5:10 p.m.

Chambery – London City

Monday: depart 2:10 p.m.; arrive 2:45 p.m.
Tuesday: depart 10:20 a.m.; arrive 10:55 a.m.
Saturday: depart 10 a.m.; arrive 10:35 a.m.
Sunday: depart 6 p.m.;  arrive 7:35 p.m.
