Recently John McMahon, executive vice president of Questex Hospitality + Travel, attended a fam trip to the Club Med Opio in Provence, France. Here are some photos from the event.
Agents on the fam trip got a chance to check out the resort, as well as surrounding attractions like local olive groves, the Picasso Museum in Antibes and St. Paul de Vence, a fortified medieval village high atop a narrow ridge between two valleys.
The resort offers Provençal-style accommodations with a nine-hole golf course, three swimming pools and tennis courts. There is also an on-property Club Med Spa by L’Occitane with six individual treatment rooms, one double room, a whirlpool bath, a Zen area, a Zen tea room and a Roman bath.
The resort also offers several excursions to the surrounding area. Highlights include an adventure trail, bikeboard and solex rental, a buggy outing, mountain bike and electronic bike rental, perfume creation and a trip to the Caves of St. Cezaire.
