WorldPride at the Gaystone
Gaystone is a queer destination that celebrates the West End and all of its diverse communities. WorldPride at the Gaystone will take place June 17 through June 26 with special guests John Cameron Mitchell on June 19 and Big Dipper on June 25.
WorldPride Exhibitions
WorldPride opening receptions are June 26 from 7 – 10 pm. Reception exhibitions include 10x10 Photography Project taking over 2 flours with 100 photos of queer folks in the arts. Syrus Marcus Ware is the new curator of That’s So Gay: On the Edge which expresses an uneasiness with simplicity and suggests an impending switching of the record.
WorldPride Hotel Packages
With packages running from June 17 to June 29, guests can receive a complementary bottle of champagne upon arrival plus transit tickets for access to the rest of Toronto.
Nuit Rose
Nuit Rose is a queer contemporary art event to celebrate queer art and host art and performances. Beginning at 7 pm on June 21 there will be performance art throughout the building, as well as, featured galleries. Nuit Rose will also have cabaret in the Melody Bar.
