IGLTA Lowers Dues for Agencies, Announces Events

The International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association (IGLTA) is lowering its annual membership dues to $175 for all current (renewals) and new travel agency members. The current annual dues for all other travel and tourism business members will remain the same: $250, $400 or $550 based on the number of employees the business has. In addition, the usual one-time administrative fee of $100 has been reduced to $50 for all new travel agency applicants. This special rate applies to travel agencies only and is also part of its 25th anniversary celebration in 2008.

IGLTA will kick off the new year in February with a familiarization trip/symposium to one of the Seven Wonders of the World: Machu Picchu, Peru. Then, the highlight of 2008 is IGLTA's Silver Anniversary World Convention in Las Vegas, April 30-May 4. Go to [www.iglta.org/convention] for information regarding the hotel, networking events, breakout sessions, shows and other events, as well as the convention registration form.
