Marriott International has announced that the Marriott Bonn World Conference Hotel is scheduled to open its doors at the end of the month.

When it opens on the banks of the Rhine River, the 17 floor, 336 room hotel will be one of the largest in Germany. The room count includes 30 suites and two presidential suites, and the property will also have a rooftop restaurant, fitness center, spa and indoor pool.

The hotel will have over 7,100 square feet of conference and banquet space, including three private dining areas on the top floor of the hotel.

The 17th floor restaurant and bar, Konrad’s, will serve cuisine inspired by the different regions of Germany under the direction of Chef de Cuisine Alexander Stadler. Named after the German Federal Republic’s first Chancellor, Konrad Adenauer, the bar and restaurant will also have floor-to-ceiling windows for panoramic views. The historic influence extends to the rest of the hotel’s interior, which incorporates images of famous figures from the city’s political past into the decorations on each floor.

The hotel will also have a spa built around historic Roman remains with an extensive treatment menu, tailor-made therapies, and indoor pool and a fitness center.
