Jack Nicklaus says hello to Los Cabos as he is brought on board to design the Quivira Golf Club, a $40 million investment and part of an exclusive residential development in the area.
The 18-hole course will have seven oceanfront holes. "This property affords us a rare opportunity because of its topographic diversity and natural environment," Nicklaus said in a statement. "We're taking advantage of this natural setting to create a very special golf experience. Our team will work with the canvas Mother Nature has provided to create one of the most spectacular courses in the world."
The course is expected to be completed at the end of 2013.
