TSA PreCheck Now At Washington Reagan and Chicago O' Hare

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) reports the launch of TSA PreCheck operations at Ronald Reagan Washington National (DCA) and Chicago O’Hare International (ORD) airports. In addition, active duty service members in the U.S. Armed Forces are now eligible to receive the same expedited screening benefits when flying out of DCA.

The TSA PreCheck program  enables TSA to focus on a risk-based, intelligence driven approach to screening travelers who volunteer information about themselves prior to flying. Since the pilot launch in October 2011, more than 540,000 passengers have been screened through  the program, TSA says.

If TSA determines a passenger is eligible for expedited screening information will be imbedded in the barcode of the passenger’s boarding pass which will allow them access to the TSA PreCheck lane.

TSA PreCheck will be available at Terminal 3, Checkpoint 8 in ORD for select American Airlines frequent flyers, and at Terminal B, South Checkpoint in DCA for Delta Air Lines. Members of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Trusted Traveler programs including Global Entry, SENTRI and NEXUS are eligible in both locations.
