During our recent roundtable about eco-friendly tourism, hotel executives, agents, and environmental experts discussed the characteristics and interests of travelers who seek to reduce their carbon footprint. Travel Agent's Michael Browne moderated the roundtable, which included Sarah Dayboll, coordinator of environmental affairs for Fairmont Raffles Hotels International; Brian McGuinness, senior vice president of Starwood/Element Hotels; Brigitta Witt, vice president of environmental affairs for Hyatt Hotels & Resorts; Faith Taylor, corporate vice president of sustainability and innovation for Wyndham Worldwide; Richard Peterson of the California Academy of Sciences; Liz Wessel, owner of Green Concierge Travel LLC; Jena Hanes, green travel consultant for Your Choice Travel; and Stephanie Lee of Travel Quest.
