Travel Agent Leads Green Travel Roundtable

As eco-friendly travel becomes as much of a niche concept for sales as it is a necessity for saving the planet, Travel Agent took to the time to host a roundtable discussion on green tourism with hotel executives, sustainability experts and travel agents.

Michael Browne moderated the roundtable, which included Sarah Dayboll, coordinator of environmental affairs for Fairmont Raffles Hotels International; Brian McGuinness, senior vice president of Starwood/Element Hotels; Brigitta Witt, vice president of environmental affairs for Hyatt Hotels & Resorts; Faith Taylor, corporate vice president of sustainability and innovation for Wyndham Worldwide; Richard Peterson of the California Academy of Sciences; Liz Wessel, owner of Green Concierge Travel LLC; Jena Hanes, green travel consultant for Your Choice Travel; and Stephanie Lee of Travel Quest.
