ACAPULCO, Mexico – Travel Agent spoke with Andres Castro of the Guatemala tourist board at the annual Mexico Tianguis Turistico and learned that the country continues to make efforts to promote to the trade industry.
Castro told us that the destination will be the latest host of the Latin American tradeshow, the Central American Travel Market (CATM) in October. The show, which is in its eighth year, attracts suppliers and wholesalers from Central America as well as the United Status, athough Europe is the primarly market for the event. It will run from Oct. 18-20.
Last year´s event was hosted by El Salvador.
