Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., recently introduced the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane to the brand. After the property's multi-million pound renovation, it is scheduled for relaunch in October 2016.
The Sheraton Grand London Park Lane, located in the heart of Mayfair, joins 32 other Sheraton Grand properties globally, and was renovated as part of the Sheraton 2020 initiative, a goal of the Sheraton group to open and renovate more than 150 hotels by 2020.
The 90-year-old hotel, originally opened in 1927, is known for its Art Deco design. During the renovations the 303-room property received a multitude of upgrades, while simultaneously maintaining its “Roaring Twenties” charm. The project added 43 Sheraton Club rooms and suites, exclusive access to the Sheraton Club Lounge and the option to connect adjoining suites.
The Sheraton Club Lounge provides guests with a private space to enjoy complimentary breakfast, drinks and snacks during the day, a taste of The Palm Court afternoon tea, a full bar, evening canapés and access to a complimentary private meeting room, with seating for up to eight.
In addition to the Club rooms, the hotel’s Grand Suite provides guests with an entrance lobby, master bedroom with bathroom, living and dining areas. All rooms are interconnected with double-width, sliding pocket doors, enabling the entire suite to be opened into a single space.
In the tradition of grand hotels and lounges of the 1920s and 1930s, Sheraton has partnered with Paired to provide menu options throughout the day, including breakfast, afternoon tea, dinner, cocktails, small plates ad eclectic bar snacks served alongside premium wines and local craft beers. The hotel also offers a new Italian restaurant, Mercante, as well as the Smith & Whistle Bar, which opened last year.
