First 25 Registered Travel Agents Get Free Fam Tour

Old QuebecThe World Religious Travel Expo 2010 has announced the first 25 travel agents to register for the event will qualify for a free complimentary VIP fam tour of Quebec's shrines and religious sites. Valued at $500, the tour will be escorted by WRTA President and The Christian Travel Planner author Kevin J. Wright and will include motor coach transportation, local tourist guides, one-night lodging, meals and educational materials about the Canadian sanctuaries.

The fam trip will depart Montréal and conclude at Montréal’s Trudeau International Airport Wednesday, November 17, at 1 p.m. Four of Canada's five National Sanctuaries are located in Quebec, including Oratoire Saint-Joseph in Montréal, Notre-Dame-du-Cap Sanctuary in Mauricie, Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré Basilica in Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré and Ermitage Saint-Antoine in Lac-Bouchette. As well as the tour, travel agents will see the Saguenay/Lac-Saint-Jean area and its fjord and learn how to an itinerary around the sites and sell the travel package.

The World Religious Travel Expo has attracted more than 500 travel professionals and organizations from over 30 countries. This November, the event will be held in conjunction with the NTA Convention for the second year. Combined, more than 2,000 attendants are expected, including travel agents, tour operators, tourism boards, attractions, accommodations, suppliers, media and other organizations.
