NEST Signs on Five Tour Operators

March 4, 2009 By: George Dooley

The Network of Entrepreneurs Selling Travel (NEST) has increased its product offerings by signing on five tour operators as new preferred supplier partners, including Delta Vacations, Collette Vacations, Pacific Delight Tours, Key Tours and Central Holidays. NEST has negotiated special packages and commissions with the new suppliers, and provides exclusive co-op marketing opportunities with the new industry partners.

“We’re pleased to offer our home-based agents these additional vacation packages with leading suppliers to help increase their revenues while providing their clients with the finest quality of travel products available today,” said Nicole Mazza, chief marketing officer for NEST.

Delta Vacations offers tour packages to more than 150 destinations within the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, Mexico, Europe, Latin America, Middle East and South Africa. The packages are designed for a wide range of ages, from young to mature, from singles to families. Prices vary from budget to luxury.

"We welcome the endorsement of Delta Vacations by NEST," said Charles Gallina, vice president and general manager for Delta Vacations. "We've developed a long-term partnership and we look to further strengthen this strategic relationship by delivering outstanding travel experiences, great service and product through the Delta Vacations brand."

Collette Vacations provides more than 150 itineraries covering all seven continents. Its Cruise-Land Tours combine the best of both land and sea. The Smithsonian Journeys Travel Adventures offer value-priced, custom-crafted adventure learning vacations worldwide.  Explorations by Collette is a new small tours division serving only 16-24 passengers per trip and offering the rich cultures and breathtaking scenery of a variety of destinations with stays at smaller, unique hotels.

Pacific Delight Tours is China and Asia’s largest tour operator, now in its 38th year of service. The company provides the largest offering for Asia programs starting with its award-winning Gold Experience Programs. All awards were assigned for Best Tour Operator in Asia.

"We are excited to join the NEST organization," said Jerry Pi, president of Pacific Delight Tours. "We look forward to providing the NEST agents all the tools and resources to grow and expand their revenue base in the China and Asia market. Given the economic challenges right now, we look to provide another viable revenue opportunity in leisure travel outside of today’s traditional markets."
