OSSN Launches New Home-Based Agent Blog

Home-based travel agents across North America have a new online resource: the first blog written and produced by a travel agent association, according to the Outside Sales Support Network (OSSN). The association introduced the OSSN Blog on its website (www.ossn.com/blog) to expand its communications with home-based travel retailers. The new blog will focus on marketing tips, industry updates, and association news via a format that features more frequent updates than a typical website, and it will be open for viewing by any agent (not just OSSN members).

Denise Vogel, an ongoing contributor to OSSN’s daily member newsletter, will manage the new OSSN blog. Her company, Click of the Mouse, helps clients learn how to take advantage of computer software and alleviate the stress in learning to use technology. OSSN's regional managers and chapter directors will join Vogel in contributing posts to the blog, giving the new site a wide range of viewpoints.

"We're very excited to launch this new site to generate conversations among home-based agents, and we believe our new blog will quickly become a must-read site for OSSN members and non-members alike," said Gary M. Fee, OSSN's president.
