TRAVELSAVERS Worldwide Independent Network (TWIN) has launched an e-campaign promoting its TWIN Niche Alliance program. The online marketing effort will run through the first quarter of 2010. The weekly e-campaign alerts TRAVELSAVERS agencies to the travel niche specialties of TWIN members in both the leisure and corporate arenas.
TRAVELSAVERS agencies can then leverage this global network and create alliances with the TWIN agencies. The objective of the program is to help TRAVELSAVERS agencies build their businesses through these partnerships by increasing sales and service to their international clients.
Some examples of the niche specialties offered are: motorcycle tours (in the U.S., South America and Europe), educational tours of the Holy Land, weddings/honeymoons in the Dominican Republic, Carnivale (in Rio de Janiero, Venice and Tenerife), executive adventure retreats, jet charter service, employee vacation service, outsourcing for agencies and travel management services.
TWIN reports that members also provide in-bound travel services, including destination expertise, local language support, VIP assistance, meeting venues, and cultural nuances and etiquette. They function as on-the-ground extensions of the TRAVELSAVERS agencies in such key travel regions as Mexico, the Caribbean, South America, Europe, the Middle East, India, Asia, Canada and the U.S.
