Sheraton Hotels & Resorts' invitation to travel professionals to rediscover the newly transformed brand by giving away thousands of free rooms through their “Check-In On Us” promotion has succeeded. More than 15,000 travel professionals completed the five-minute Sheraton Revitalization video and qualified for a free night at more than 100 Sheraton in North America, Sheraton reports.
The promotion ran April 24th through May 2, urging travel professionals to log on to www.Sheraton.com/FreeNight and view Sheraton’s five-minute highlight video. The video previewed Sheraton’s multibillion-dollar enhancements and offered a free night at one of nearly 100 new or newly renovated Sheraton hotels in North America.
As part of a three-year revitalization effort, Sheraton invested more than $4 billion in new hotels, renovations and signature brand initiatives in North America and another $2 billion in new hotels overseas. The company is already seeing results from the overhaul, including the highest guest satisfaction scores and meeting planner satisfaction scores in its history. In addition, Sheraton recently announced a robust global pipeline of more than $5 billion in new developments in key markets worldwide.
“We know seeing is believing and it is important that we give our travel professional partners a reason to take a fresh look at Sheraton,” said Chris Austin, vice president global retail leisure and luxury sales for Starwood Hotels and Resorts.
