Oceania Cruises Reaches Out to Mid-Sized, Home-Based Agents

Oceania Cruises has launched the company’s new “Sales Resource Center.”  Headed by Director of Agency Services Bob Prieto, the center is comprised of five account executives who will work with agents on sales development, training, and administration.

Oceania states that one of the major goals of this new center is to change the perception of the role that inside sales representatives play. To facilitate this change, Oceania says that account executives will work with new, mid-sized, and home-based agents to develop marketing strategies for Oceania Cruises.

"This new organizational structure allows our Regional Sales Directors to dedicate more time to existing accounts and building new relationships, while at the same time providing agent partners with a new and unrivaled level of service and accessibility," said Jeff Drew, the line's senior vice president of sales.

As one of its first outreach efforts, the Sales Resource Center will soon be offering online videos detailing different aspect of Oceania Cruises during “Webinar Wednesdays.”
