Hong Kong Tourism Board Honored for Marketing Campaign at Travel Industry Award Competitions

Hong Kong Tourism Board U.S. has earned top industry honors in recent travel and tourism award competitions, including recognition for its marketing support of "Quest for Harmony," the critically-acclaimed episode of "Adventures with Purpose," which explores the ancient and contemporary expressions of harmony in Hong Kong, Macau, and Guangdong.

Travel Weekly’s prestigious Magellan Awards presented Hong Kong Tourism Board U.S. with a Gold Magellan Award for Destination Marketing-Advertising/Marketing Campaign, while the episode was awarded a Gold Award in the category of Travel Broadcast-Video at the esteemed Society of American Travel Writers’ Lowell Thomas Travel Journalism Competition and a Bronze Award in the category of Film/Video at the distinguished Telly Awards.

“Hong Kong Tourism Board’s ongoing efforts in promoting Asia’s World City as part of a culturally-rich, multi-destination itinerary have proven very successful,” said Bill Flora, U.S. Director of Hong Kong Tourism Board.  “In particular, our relentless focus on bringing the unique living culture of each destination to life was well received. We would also like to acknowledge the support provided by Macau Government Tourism Office, China’s Guangdong Provincial Tourism Authority and Cathay Pacific Airways.”
