Candlewood Suites, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, has announced its first two projects outside the U.S., which will be located in Canada. The brand currently has close to 90 properties in the works, which, when completed, will double Candlewood's portfolio. Major urban markets, such as New York City, are also on Candlewood's target list. Candlewood Suites also announced a new bedding package that will be tested this summer. Initial rollout of the residential-style package will begin later this year. Upgraded features include fluffy duvets, upgraded sheets, choice of two different pillows, cotton blankets and a decorative "Consider Us Home" pillow.
