Extended Stay Consolidates Brands

Extended Stay Hotels, which operates more than 675 hotels in the U.S. and Canada, is consolidating its five brands into three. The company will combine about 50 percent of Homestead Studio Suites Hotels as well as StudioPlus Deluxe Studios under the Extended Stay Deluxe brand. The remaining 50 percent of Homestead Studios will fall under the Extended Stay America brand. The third division, Extended Stay Economy, will include the Crossland Economy Studio brand. The Homestead Studio Suites Hotels will be converted by the first quarter of 2007; Crossland and StudioPlus properties should be converted by the end of 2007.
