Harrah's Atlantic City to Unveil First Part of Expansion

On February 18, Harrah's Atlantic City in New Jersey unveils the first phase of the property's $550 million upgrade and expansion project. New for the first phase is a 620-seat contemporary buffet and a retail promenade. The Waterfront Buffet has 22-foot ceilings, 60 chandeliers, private dining spaces, seven culinary stations from around the world-American, Italian, Asian Wok and Mongolian Barbecue, Seafood, Rodizio, Sushi and Dim Sum. Harrah's existing Fantasea Buffet will be converted into additional gaming space that will allow for 400 slot machines, 10 table games and a player's lounge. By this summer, the casino floor will have expanded by 16,500 square feet to a total of 165,700 square feet.
