It was announced Monday that Jacob Ascher, a native of Israel and resident of the U.S., has been appointed general manager of the 378-room Hilton Newark Airport Hotel. Ascher has over 20 years of hospitality management experience. His most recent position was serving as opening general manager for the Hilton Garden Inn Liberia Airport Hotel in Costa Rica, where he was responsible for the hotel’s opening which included the hiring and development of the property management team. In his role as general manager of the Hilton Newark Airport Hotel, Ascher will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the recently renovated hotel.
