Homewood Suites by Hilton, the international brand of upscale, all-suite, residential-style hotels, recently opened its first property in Mexico, in the burgeoning business hub of Torreon, Coahuila. The 102-suite property is within a new 280,000-square-foot entertainment complex called Intermall Laguna that aims to revitalize the Torreon area by providing more than 2,000 new jobs, and attract both tourists and business travelers.
