New Lifestyle Brand: INTRIGUE Hotels & Resorts by Interstate

Interstate Hotels & Resorts has announced a new lifestyle management division, INTRIGUE Hotels & Resorts by Interstate. The independent and soft-branded properties will feature modern, tech-focused urban boutique hotels, upscale restaurants, spa retreats and international properties all focused on bringing a lifestyle-focused experience to the guest. 

Incubated for almost a year, INTRIGUE Hotels & Resorts will aim to offer innovative accommodations and experiences geared towards the modern traveler. It draws from Interstate's experience of operating independent and soft-branded properties across the country and around the world including: Nomo SoHo in New York; Hotel Erwin in Venice Beach, California.; The Charles Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts; and The Marker in Dublin, Ireland.

"Blending the global reach of Interstate with a cutting-edge technology platform and a lifestyle-centric approach to hotel management, INTRIGUE enters the market in prime position to be a leader in the management of Independent and soft-branded hotels and resorts," said Michael Deitemeyer, President & Chief Executive Office of Interstate Hotels & Resorts in a press release. 

Brian Sparacino will be heading the management team. He comes to the position of Senior Vice President of Operations with more than two decades of hospitality experience. He has held executive positions with Interstate Hotels & Resorts include oversight of hotels and resorts in major gateway markets.

The leadership team for INTRIGUE Hotels & Resorts will be based in Arlington, Virginia and New York City. 

No word yet on which properties will be part of the INTRIGUE brand.
