InterContinental Makes Milwaukee Debut

The 220-room Wyndham Milwaukee will be reflagged as an InterContinental no later than Jan. 1, the property's owner, Marcus Corp., said on Monday. The converted hotel will become the first InterContinental luxury hotel in the city. Since the company bought the property back in 2005, it has upgraded many of the hotel's components, including food and beverage and meeting spaces. "We completely repositioned the personality of the hotel," said Bill Otto, president of Marcus Hotels and Resorts.
